This privacy policy outlines how FaceShift iOS ("the App") handles user data. We strongly believe in user privacy and data security. The App is designed so that almost all features and data processing happen locally on your device.

1. Face Data Use and Processing

Our application uses Apple's native Vision framework (`VNFaceLandmarks` API) to detect facial landmarks (coordinates of specific facial features such as the contours of the eyes, nose, mouth, and eyebrows) solely for the purpose of enabling the "face-swapping" image effects within the App. All processing of facial data occurs locally and completely offline on your device via built-in APIs and OpenCV.

No Data Collection: We do not collect, share, or transmit any facial data, face maps, or facial landmarks to our servers or any third-party services.
No Data Retention: The facial data is used temporarily in volatile device memory (RAM) during the brief photo editing process. It is immediately and permanently discarded from the device's memory once the processed image is generated. We do not retain or store any sensitive facial data.
No Third-Party Sharing: Face data is never shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or any other external party under any circumstances.

2. Photo Library Access

The App requests access to your iOS Photo Library strictly so you can select the photos you wish to edit. The App does not copy, upload, or analyze your photo library content in the background. The photos you select are processed locally to perform the swap and saved back to your device only when you explicitly press the save/share button.

3. Usage Analytics

We do not track or collect any personal information. We may receive anonymous, aggregated crash reports through Apple's standard App Store tools solely to improve the application's stability. These crash reports contain no user-identifiable data or photos.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
